Job Description
MyJobGroup (MJG), the fastest growing network of regional jobsites in the UK, due to this rapid growth we are currently recruiting into our Sales Team. We are looking for an extremely motivated and ambitious sales professional with a proven track record of selling within a fast paced, sales focused organisation.
You will have strong commercial experience, with an entrepreneurial and innovative style. You will be a decisive individual with a strong focus on delivery, with a high level of business acumen. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business in line with agreed targets. You will also be responsible for developing strong relationships with all clients.
Specific Duties
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; fact finding; solution pitch; negotiation; close; account management
- Establish, develop and manage strong, revenue-generating relationships with corporate clients
- Gain a thorough understanding of clients marketing and ROI objectives Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income to an agreed annual target of invoiced revenue, to increase year on year
- Through a deep understanding of your clients needs you should be able to generate unique value as appropriate. I.e. solutions orientated
- Develop and maintain a customer database of direct clients
- Prepare sales action plans, schedules & presentations
- Work as part of the sales team and to contribute to the achievement of its overall objectives
- Represent MJG in a positive and professional manner at relevant industry events and tradeshows
- Manage and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline
- Keep abreast of issues affecting the industry including competitor intelligence/analysis
- Implement the credit terms policy as operated by the company
- There may be a requirement for occasional travel and the need to attend Recruitment Fairs. Although the role will be mainly office based.
Experience/Competencies
- A background in Advertising, Online, Media, Recruitment or Job Board Companies (desirable)
- A proven track record of dealing with sales and the ability to achieve & exceed challenging targets
- Ability to identify new business opportunities relevant research tools / sector specific targeting and cold calling
- Previous experience of B2B sales
- A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities
- Ability to prioritise competing demands
